When my girlfriend and I first moved to this apartment complex, We were excited about the amenities like the pool, fitness center and hot tub. The fitness center has never had any heat or AC . My girlfriend and I did not like to use the fitness center, because it was always hot and humid. It was the middle of the summer season at that time, and we hoped the indoor temperature would be more comfortable in the fall. We actually hoped the problem with the heat and AC would be fixed, but we did not expect any changes. The temperatures were much more comfortable in the fall and my girlfriend and I used the treadmill a great deal. Unfortunately it was cold again during the winter months. Luckily, I had a solution for the cold temperatures. I bought a small space heater from a store around the corner. The space heater was only $25. There are plenty of outlets inside of the fitness center, so my girlfriend and I can move the space heater from place to place as we work out. So far it has worked out very well. We get to use all of the amenities and comfort. I talked to the manager when I paid my rent last month, and I mentioned the fitness center. She told me that the management company plans to replace the HVAC system in the spring, and I truly hope that is the truth. My girlfriend and I signed a two-year lease and it would be nice if the fitness area was accessible and comfortable throughout the entire year.
