Something that bothers me a lot is when I deal with poor indoor air quality. If I walk into a place and I feel like I have breathing issues, I have to get out of that location quickly. I will never stand for poor air quality no matter where I am, especially in my own home. But also, in other important places I need to be like my workplace. It was a few weeks ago when they hired some cleaning crew who started shampooing the carpets with some very nasty smelling chemicals. I suddenly was unable to breathe and I told my boss that I had to get out of there. I said those workers shouldn’t be using those chemicals in an enclosed area especially without opening the windows. Even if the windows were open though, I couldn’t sit there and work at my desk while dangerous chemicals were threatening my ability to breathe, so I was out of there even though my boss tried to force me to stay. I told him I would sue if he tried to keep me there under those conditions and I was gone. I was much happier at home where I knew there were no issues with my air quality. I actually have a UV air purification in my home which provides superior air quality compared to most places. The UV light functions to pull all contaminants from the air including microscopic organisms that are dangerous to our health, bacteria, mold spores and other such things. I wish I could say the same about my workplace, but they don’t even use air purification systems. They won’t even allow you to bring a portable UV air purifier to your work station.
