HVAC warranty stress is unnecessary

I didn’t listen to the HVAC contractor but my wife did.

And I have never been more thankful that she did indeed listen to what the HVAC professional was saying.

I was just too busy wanting to play with my new toy. Getting the new HVAC equipment installed was a big deal for me. From the time the HVAC technician told us to start working on getting a new heat pump to installation was about a year. We needed a little bit of time to save up some for the new HVAC unit. And that time also allowed us to learn all about the latest in HVAC technology for residential HVAC. That was great as well. By going through that process with the HVAC contractor, we really were able to figure out just what we wanted when it came to our quality heating and air. Once we picked out the sort of heating and cooling equipment we wanted, we simply had to wait as it took a while to get it. Like everything else post pandemic, there were supply chain issues when it came to our HVAC equipment. Once that thing went in, I was so excited that I really didn’t hear the HVAC contractor when he was talking about the HVAC warrant. A few months later, I went straight into a panic attack when I came across some information that stated we only had 60 days to register the new HVAC unit. Again, thanks to my wife, disaster was averted. She registered the new HVAC equipment warranty with the HVAC factory the day following the installation. Perhaps that panic was karma for me not listening to the HVAC contractor.
