All my friends have excruciating at jobs like mine.
The people in addition to my self actually adore that type of jobs that put us up in a retail store as a cashier.
Previously, the people I was with in addition to myself actually travel 12 miles from our College in order to work at this specific department store. Things were really great for a long time, until the new management took over and decided to do things differently. The first thing they did was addressed all of the temperatures in their stores. Instead of 72 degrees, it was now 75. Customers were complaining every single day about the indoor air quality and high temperatures. In fact, we lost a lot of customers because they were too hot to try clothes on in the dressing room. When I made mention of all of these problems, the people I was with an addition to myself got threatened with our jobs. They certainly didn’t want the type of people to cause problems and they were looking for folks who weren’t going to make any complaints. The people I was with an addition to myself had to learn to put up with the terrible indoor air climate, as long as we wanted to work in that great establishment. I couldn’t imagine why it was so hard to convince anyone that the space needed some extra cool air, but I guess the people in charge didn’t matter if the customers and employees were comfortable or unhappy. I think the whole thing is a bunch of malarkey.
