Look, I’ve never been one to be overly concerned with myself. While I care for myself and do my best to listen to my body and mind, I haven’t exactly been a needy guy. Instead, I’ve channeled most of my energy into work and home life. I have a job I enjoy where I get to work inside the zone controlled HVAC comfort of a great office. And our home is lovely and it too has great quality heating and air. I have done my very best to find a work life balance so I could spend time raising my family. My wife works inside the zone controlled HVAC of her office so we’ve always partnered up with the kids. But when it came to spending money on me, I normally just used that money for the family. While I’m fortunate to have a great house, decent clothing and good, healthy food, that’s really the sort of things I spend on myself. I gave up golf pretty much because it kept me away from the kids too much and cost a lot as well. So now that that the kids are college age, I finally did something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. I took the guest room and turned it into a study for just me. And I had the HVAC company come out to install a ductless heat pump in that new study. I’ve always enjoyed more air conditioning than my wife and kids. But now, I have my own space to literally chill out with great ductless heating and cooling.
