Remembering when I was an HVAC contractor

I was doing my Spring cleaning when I saw documents from the last local supplier I had worked for, and the papers took myself and others down memory lane, however I had worked for the heating service provider for 3 decades and had achieved a lot.

I started as an actual heating and A/C repairman trainee and worked my way up to the manager of quality heating in the state.

I remember doing furnace repair tasks and meeting all kinds of people, some of whom were really prominent. One was a single of the kindest boys I have met in the business! She also wanted new heating equipment. She had paid for a geo heat pump, and my team of local contractors was hired to handle the upgrade. I also remembered another incident where I saved a family from a cabin fire. My friend and I had gone to service her portable space furnace that had malfunctioned, before my pal and I started the repairs, the unit blew up! But fortunately, not a single one was disfigured, and my pal and I rushed the family out of the cabin as my pal and I waited for the fire department. My friend and I later discovered that the digital control unit had malfunctioned, messing up the other devices. I have served my village for forty years and provided heating service to thousands of residents. I am now retired and passionate every hour of it. In the first year of my retirement, I traveled across the country and experienced a life I had only dreamed of until now. The heating companies would still contact me and others for advice on particular processes and heating devices; however, even at my age, I am still studying more about heating and A/C since technology always changes. I also encourage my children, who have since moved out, to finally apply the energy-saving help tips I provide them and to continue studying more about heating.
