Ductless heat pump option is a blessing

I truly thought I had done all my due diligence and paid attention to every detail when I bought this house.

It’s actually my first place and came with plenty of work to get it up to date and more livable.

There was a lot to do from the HVAC equipment, to the kitchen and even replacing all the carpet. And that’s just for starters. I really did try to keep all of this straight in my brain so I could be sure that I was on top of just what I was getting myself into. But really, I just so wanted to be free of apartment life. It had become just more that I could stand. After almost 15 years of renting, I was ready for my own place and my own HVAC equipment. All those years dealing with antiquated residential HVAC in my apartment made me crave some quality heating and air. That’s why it was so strange and bewildering that I missed the ductwork. I knew the HVAC equipment was going to need an upgrade to new residential HVAC. And I had planned on that. But I missed the part of the report from the home inspection about the ductwork. The HVAC contractor was the one who delivered the news that the ductwork was worthless as well. I was crushed because that was going to destroy my renovation budget. But that HVAC professional had a solution up his sleeve in a multi split ductless heat pump set up. I am now almost glad that the ductwork was shot. I love these ductless heat pumps as they provide the best quality heating and air I’ve even had the pleasure to live with.
