When summer came and the cost of the gas furnaces came down, we looked to buy a new one
It seems that over a lifetime, we all have difficult situations that we need to get through. I know I have had my share of hard times like when I worked for the same employer for ten years even though I hated it. Recently, I had to go without power for almost two weeks because of a storm that went through our area. It tore down all of the power lines and it took two weeks to repair. I have had many difficult times, but the worst was when I went through a winter without any heat. I had been having a hard time and I was out of money. I knew I wouldn’t be able to afford a new furnace, so I went to another way to heat my home. We had a fireplace in our home, but I didn’t like the idea of running it through the night. I knew it would probably just run out of fuel, so we had the fireplace burning well and then right before bed, we would let it burn out. I hoped the remaining in heat would keep the house warm. There were several times I thought the pipes were going to freeze and burst. I worried that we would all freeze in our beds, but we made it through the winter. When summer came and the cost of the gas furnaces came down, we looked to buy a new one. We were able to get a good deal on a new gas furnace and it is able to keep our home even more comfortable than the old furnace. It is more efficient and our heat is much more reliable.
