I have to be the most forgetful person of all time.
My wife will never get over the fact that I almost missed our wedding rehearsal.
It was on a day that there was a good football game on and my buddies asked if I could come over and watch the game. I actually picked up some chicken wings and went on over to watch the game. That’s when I got a text from my wife telling me not to be late. That’s when I realized that I completely forgot about the wedding rehearsal! I was in such a rush that I didn’t have time to explain to my friends that I entirely forgot about the wedding rehearsal. I certainly didn’t want her to know that so I was driving fast and went to get ready at the house. I had to quickly adjust the temperature control so that we wouldn’t be wasting energy, and then I had the A/C cranked up in the car so I wouldn’t be sweating in my tux. I actually was a little bit late and my wife was pretty upset about it, but she got over it. The thing is, I forgot about our anniversary a few times and she was always so upset about it. The last time I forgot, I ended up getting her a smart thermostat and she loved the gift so much, she forgave me for my forgetfulness. I love that smart thermostat too because it reminds us when to change the air filter and that’s something that I always forget!
