My wife & I consider our lives to be better when there is some adventure thrown in there.
There are no children & the people I was with and I own our corporation so, schedule aren’t a really big deal.
The plan is to usually throw a 3 or 4 day weekend into the mix at least once per month. Nothing to do but pile in the gear & hit the highway for fun times. Planes just don’t fit in that picture anymore. Driving ourselves is more expedient & it really is a lot more comfortable. The savings are applied to paying for accommodations along the way. Every one of us both are always on the lookout for the those awesome interstate hotels. Our plans no longer include the extravagant downtown places. Their Heating & A/C is always pathetic. Every one of us end up paying all this currency for extravagant stuff only to sweat or freeze to death because of inferior heating & cooling. The 3 star interstate hotels are the ones that the people I was with and I now do corporation with. They are awesome. The Heating & A/C units in those place heat up or cool down honestly fast. I’m not waiting seconds to cool off the room so I can get some rest. My beautiful wife feels the same way I do. She was initially hesitant about the roadside hotels. But, she experienced a wonderful place during a conference & she was sold on the Heating & A/C. The places are always honestly clean, comfy & the price is right. Friends of ours look down their noses at us but the people I was with and I really don’t care. All I prefer is superb Heating & A/C & that lovely free supper in the day.
