When people think about hydronic heating, they instantly guess that hydronic heating is yet another way of heating your home, but with all the advancements in heating and a/c technology today, pretty much everyone instantly think of this.
But what a lot of people don’t think about is that hydronic heating can also be used to heat an indoor pool! Yes, you heard myself and others right…an indoor swimming pool! My rich friend has an indoor pool, and she was talking about replacing the heat pump in her pool with hydronic heating.
When she told myself and others about this it kind of confused me. Because I had thought that a heat pump was in fact a form of hydronic heating, but she suddenly corrected myself and others on this assumption! There are weird kinds of heat pumps for a swimming pool, however the same as there are weird kinds of heat pumps for house heating as well. But she kept going on about how hydronic heating was going to be the best way to heat her indoor swimming pool. The whole conversation had myself and others utterly confused! But a single thing I did learn was that when people beginning talking about hydronic heating, they are not always talking about heating the home, however i particularly think it’s totally awesome that our friend is rich and is able to have an indoor pool in her large apartment that she owns, then me and our family are always invited over there to go swimming in the cold Wintertide months when the rest of the world is huddling by the fireplace or central heating plan to keep warm!
