The kids are always bringing home cold viruses from school. With four kids in the house, it seems like the entire household is constantly sick. If one of the kids get sick, they all end up getting sick. Of course I use disinfectants and keep my house as clean as possible but I never considered cleaning the air we breathe until I came across special air purifiers. At first I got just one small portable air purifier and it seemed to stop an outbreak of the cold when my daughter came home sick. Nobody else caught whatever she had, thankfully. I knew there was only so much one small portable air purifier could do though but I didn’t want to buy several for the entire house. Instead I called our usual HVAC company and asked about installing a whole home air purifier directly into our HVAC system. Like the tiny air purifier, a whole home air purification system uses UV lights and special filters to kill and catch any airborne viruses. Regular HVAC systems just spread the viruses through the house through the ductwork. our HVAC company did have a whole home purification system that would work with our existing HVAC system. They were able to come and install it in about a week and I’m so glad they did. Now my home stays cleaner and two of my kids have come home sick in the last month but nobody else in the house has caught their colds. I feel like the money I spent for the home purification system will pay for itself in a few years because now I don’t have to spend so much money on cold medicine, tissues, and doctor’s visits.
