I’m a honestly busy woman.
I’m single, a photographer, and I often travel… This doesn’t bode well for my Heating and Air Conditioning system, and considering it’s previous lack of care, a single would guess that I am too busy to maintain it, but that is utterly ridiculous.
I live in the deep south and have a self contained Heating and Air Conditioning unit that is fairly new and requires honestly easy repair. The filters need to be changed correctly and it needs a checkup once or twice a year, then yet, I came new home from a trip and it wasn’t working and it was my own fault! My new home was so hot and stuffy! The first thing I did was call in an Heating and Air Conditioning serviceman to look at my Heating and Air Conditioning unit. It turns out that the filter was so jammed that my air conditioning system had shut down to protect itself. How embarrassing! I was so grateful that it wasn’t something worse, though, and that my system had shut down. I could have had to buy a whole new Heating and Air Conditioning unit. The Heating and Air Conditioning serviceman then asked when I had the a/c last ran tests on and for the life of me, I couldn’t remember! The Heating and Air Conditioning serviceman was great, though. She set myself and others up with a service agreement that they will come service my Heating and Air Conditioning unit twice a year. She also set myself and others up with an automatic delivery of air filters once a month to remind myself and others to change them, then now, there is no reason for my Heating and Air Conditioning system to not be correctly cared for and I will never again come new home to a hot house.
