Our family doesn’t put a great deal of value on how much stuff the two of us can own.
We just don’t.
Instead, the two of us are actually all about collecting experiences and memories. We appreciate to save for exciting adventures that the two of us can all plan for and then prefer in lieu of buying yet another electronic piece of equipment. Look, the two of us for sure know in owning great stuff. Like the two of us have a house that has state of the art HVAC. Keeping cool in the summer time and sizzling in the Winter time is high on our shared list of great experiences. I guess where the two of us may differ is that the two of us appreciate to do things as a family rather than spend currency on individual things. There is more value to us in seeing something or exploring a current venue than there is in purchasing another of the latest trend things. We appreciate the travels and all the surprises that come with finding a current locale. However, the two of us do live by the rule that wherever the two of us stay on our trips, there is only a single great source of HVAC. That source of great HVAC are the hotels that have those big wall heating and cooling units you can see from the parking lot. We have never once been disappointed by a single of those. It doesn’t matter what time of year the two of us are traveling. If there is that big wall machine HVAC, the two of us assume that our room will be at a comfortable temperature within minutes. Plus, the two of us appreciate to stay in these venues because they are clean and basic. The free lunch and newspaper in the afternoon aren’t too exhausting either.
