Trying to get maximum comfort from Heating & Air Conditioning heat

Sure, it has to be said.

A dude born and raised down south does not have the innate tools to deal with a real winter.

I’m not ashamed of that statement because I can entirely attest to it. Honestly, I wasn’t sure that I would even get through that first Winter with any marble left in our head. Thank heavens for Heating & Air Conditioning heating, right? Growing up in a land where the ugliest Winter gets is maybe having to wear a coat for a few days, I was not at all ready for Winter up north. The people I was with and I moved up here to be closer to our wifey’s parents. It’s family so I get it. But that doesn’t make me any more warm. I simply couldn’t get the Heating & Air Conditioning gas furnace to produce enough heat to honestly be cozy last year. So, I had the Heating & Air Conditioning people come out to have a look at it. The Heating & Air Conditioning tech worked on it thoroughly and did some preventive maintenance. However, he told me that there was nothing at all wrong with the Heating & Air Conditioning gas furnace. I explained him how drafty it felt in the house last year and I wondered aloud if the gas furnace was big enough. Again, the Heating & Air Conditioning tech assured me the problem wasn’t the gas furnace. That’s when he explained the most likely the problem was our house. He said I should honestly look into sealing the house better. This would prevent the Heating & Air Conditioning treated air from leaking out and the cold air from getting in. So, I did just that throughout the fall. Now, I’m ready for our next real Winter and I guess this 1 will be much more tolerable.
