Striving for better indoor air quality.

Indoor air quality never even registered with me before 2020.

I simply never even had it come across my health radar.

But, along with so many other things, that perspective has changed with the pandemic. I had never considered working from the HVAC security of home. It just hadn’t occurred to me. I figured I would just consistently work in the HVAC controlled offices I have. Again, this virus has changed all of that for me. I am in fact working from the HVAC comfort of my house right now, and it appears that I will be doing so for at least the next many months to come. This change also fostered the change in my view of indoor air conditions. I had thought that pollution was on the outside. The indoor air was clean simply because it was inside. That just goes to show how naive I can be. The facts of the matter are that the EPA has listed poor indoor air conditions as a leading environmental hazard facing people in this country. That sort of woke me up. I got into the subject of indoor air conditions because I was hearing about the connection to immune health. This is absolutely true. Good indoor air conditions makes for a strong immune response. Once I found this out, I jumped into action in an effort to improve the indoor air conditions of my house. A large difference was made in that effort with just one move. I updated the HVAC air filters with HEPA type air filters. They really trap & remove over 99 percent of airborne hazards & that goes a long way toward quality indoor air.
