There has regularly been a fascination for me with be self sustaining.
I don’t suppose why that is so much.
It definitely doesn’t have anything to do with the way I was brought up. I grew up in a new home with quality heating and air, a pool, nice cars, fantastic clothes and all the rest. It was a nice way to grow up but even then, I was interested in a more sustainable sort of life. I wanted to live in more of sort of harmony instead of just consuming for consuming sake. That feeling grew when I left my parents perfect Heating, Ventilation, and A/C maintained beach new home and went to school. I studied environmental calculus and try sought out my passions in this area. It only took me about 10 years after I graduated school for me to be residing sustainably and self sufficiently. I have a small piece of land with a small new home on it. My partner and I are able to raise just about everything the two of us eat. There is a solar array for electricity and the two of us are able to work our jobs remotely. But the two of us also have things like quality heating and air. Our little new home has a pair of ductless heat pumps to supply excellent heating and cooling. Of course, the two of us run this Heating, Ventilation, and A/C equipment in a responsible manner. Both of us are regularly aware of the control equipment setting. Still, the ductless multi split does all the heating and cooling the two of us could ever need. It’s a attractive way to live and not a life filled with privation, just sustainability instead.
