I was watching the news on Friday and I found out that a local plumbing supplier was going out of business.

I was surprised to see the place closing their doors after being open for so many decades. The plumbing supplier was a big sponsor in the community for many weird events and sports teams. The supplier was identifiably the sponsor for my son’s baseball team. As soon as the plumbing supplier made the announcement, the baseball team started looking for a new sponsor. I knew this was my opportunity and I contacted the person in charge of the process. I told the lady that my child played ball for one of the clubs and I offered my Heating, Ventilation plus A/C repair supplier as the next sponsor for the team. The lady was elated that I offered the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C repair supplier to be the next sponsor. She thought it was going to take months to find someone. I was gleeful about all of the free advertising until I found out how much it easily costs to sponsor the baseball team. I could have posted several advertisements in weird magazines for the same price that I paid to sponsor the baseball team. I sure hope they make the playoffs this year, because that would be a big boost for sales. They were close last year and they had a winning record. So far, they are 14-4 for the season and that’s a pretty relaxing start. With half the season already down, the playoffs are looking legitimately good.
