Somebody broke into my office last night plus they stole my laptop.

My workshop plus office are located downtown in the corporation district. The office is about 25 minutes away from my home. I have an alarm on the door as well as a video camera that records 24 hours a day in the parking lot. When the alarm company called, I was distraught plus nervous. I instantly drove to the corporation office when I found out about the alarm. The alarm was still ringing when I showed up. The police arrived about 15 minutes later. I had plenty of time to search around inside while I waited for the police. I did not find a huge mess, which made myself and others thrilled. I was upset that the vandals would destroy my office. Instead, they stole my laptop plus all of my files. There was an iPod on the desk, however they left it sitting there. The guy only wanted the laptop. It seems like a strange plus random crime at first, plus then I found a corporation card outside in the parking lot. It was a corporation card from 1 of my competitors. I abruptly began to worry that the alarm plus robbery were not random. What if 1 of my competitors decided to steal my files so they could contact all of my shoppers plus put myself and others out of business. I called the police plus told them about the corporation card, however they did not seem interested in following that unique lead.
