I have been down on our luck for a few months.
Recently, I lost our job because the company I work for went under. I got a meager severance package plus I had somewhat of a fine savings, although I have only drained that money these last few months. I am used to having a steady plus dependable source of income, plus it has been actually difficult to stay afloat. Now, as the weather is getting hotter, I don’t even want to turn our air conditioning on because I suppose it will cause a spike in our energy costs, which I simply cannot afford. I have been looking for a job for months, although I haven’t been able to find anything that offers a salary comparable to our previous a single. To avoid using our a/c, I have been running all the ceiling fans plus box fans. I open the windows up at evening to let in the cool ari plus I keep the curtains closed to keep the sun from warming up the site. While I’ve been able to manage okay the last few weeks, I suppose that a heatwave is coming our way. There is no way that I’ll be able to get away with not using the air conditioning while every one of us were in that time. I may just have to go to the public Barnes plus Noble plus enjoy the air conditioning there while every one of us were in the day while I search for jobs. I hope I can find something soon.
