I don’t usually love dealing with new people coming to visit at my home, however it happens from time to time.
Recently when I asked some buddies to come out, a single of my friends said they wanted to bring their cousin along.
I already felt the anxiety with meeting some guy that I might potentially clash with, however that’s how it goes with meeting anybody new, then as soon as this guy came into the house, he introduced himself and said his name was Fred. He complimented my fireplace right away and asked if he could get a fire started. I told him to knock himself out and he did. Then the two of us all went down to my basement to hangout in the mancave. We shot some pool and were listening to some tunes. I absolutely thought Fred was an alright guy so I didn’t mind him being there. I was surprised though when I went to clean my washable filter, he made a comment. He said I should use disposable air filters because they have better MERV ratings. I had to respected him right away and told him that washable filters, especially the a singles that I use have a MERV rating of 8, which is not bad. Some of my other friends were surprised and a single buddy said his disposable air filters only have a MERV rating of 5. He said he uses the fiberglass air filters. I got right back to the point though and said washable filters were beneficial and helped supply fine air quality if cleaned properly, then you just have to keep up with the cleaning as I was doing just then since I had forgotten about the previous day.
