I’ve never really understood how our Grandma does it, but she’s really nice at convincing people to lower their prices or help out with things.
Whenever she calls us up, if she asks us to come out to help her with yard work around the house or anything, we always show up in a jiffy.
Well recently when she came to visit our house to see her great grandchildren, we had a consultation with an Heating plus A/C professional. When the Heating plus A/C professional arrived, she went over the weird Heating plus A/C possibilities plus we were interested in going for a ductless mini split. When the woman offered us a estimate for the upgrade, our Grandma said that was way too extravagant. She talked to him for a little while plus said there surely could be a way to lower that price by at least $1,000. I thought the price was great personally, however I was stunned when the Heating plus A/C expert agreed with what she was talking about plus lowered the price even more than $1,000. When she asked if we would proceed with the upgrade, I said of course we would. I was so glad because our Grandma ended up saving me about $1300 on the Heating plus A/C upgrade plus that night, we all went out to a nice diner to celebrate the savings. Of course, she was nice with talking to our server too plus then the supervisor. She told the supervisor that the food had some issues, plus the supervisor comped all our meals by 50%. No matter where our Grandma goes, she is always saving big currency!
