As a teacher, my classroom is full of all kinds of germs, especially during frigid & flu season.
It seems enjoy all my students get sick at the same time, & sometimes I get sick too.
After a few years of the same pattern, I decided that I wanted to do more than wipe desks at the end of the morning. I decided to invest in an media air cleaner. Air purifiers sanitize the air & eliminate pollutants, allergens, & toxins. While the media air cleaner cannot get rid of every germ & contaminant, they are effective in eliminating or neutralizing many of these particles. The media air cleaner is also truly helpful during dust sensitivity season. I have a lot of students who deal with seasonal allergies, & the media air cleaner reduces pollen levels in the classroom. However, it is pressing to still be mindful that there may still be contaminants on taxing surfaces, enjoy rugs. I make sure that I spray disinfectant on those surfaces. Overall, I am truly happy with my media air cleaner & I think it is making a big difference in the air quality in my classroom. A few of the teachers in my school have followed in my footsteps & got media air cleaners for their classroom. It would be truly amazing if the school would see our initiative & consider the replacement of a whole building air purification system.
