My company is looking into corporate Wellness programs

I have worked for my employer for less than one year, and already I have had to take time off to get some surgery. Granted, the condition had been present for several years already, but nonetheless it was a little unusual to have someone need surgery so soon after becoming employed. After my surgery, I started taking some yoga classes once I was approved to do so. Also, I really love swimming, so I Chose swimming as a main component of my personal health and wellness program. I do need to do more weight-bearing exercise, but it is difficult because I have quite severe arthritis in my knees and hips. The surgeon recommended that I sign up for Nutritional programs And one of the many Wellness & recovery programs that are available in my city. I did everything my surgeon told me to do, plus I got a gym membership because they offered me a personal trainer as part of the membership. My gym membership also includes access to saunas, steam rooms, a massage therapist, and all kinds of amazing Community exercise plans. I like my yoga classes and they take place in this absolutely beautiful yoga studio. As I was talking to someone at my workplace about it, one of the leadership people heard me and now my company is looking into whether or not they should provide some kind of corporate Wellness programs. I think it is a fabulous idea, especially if it means they will reimburse some of my costs for my various physical training and such. After all, it does make good sense that if you are an employer, you need your employees to be healthy, and it is a good perk to offer. Obviously, no employer is under any obligation to have corporate Wellness programs, but if you want to have good employees, it might be a good idea.
