Let’s get a new hire with experience

That did not help at all, somehow the guy was even more clueless.

Last week , a new guy started working at the heating and A/C repair business. My boss asked me to train the new guy on the job. I knew our boss was going to want me to handle that job. I trained the last employee hired to task in the business. My first job on the schedule Wednesday was a simple ductless A/C replacement job. I do not guess the new repair serviceman has ever seen a single ductless A/C component before. The guy did not guess the first thing about ways to install the machine. I had to explain every single step of the process. It took me nearly an hour longer than it usually would because I had a trainee with me. It’s beyond frustrating to task with the new guy. The next day I told the guy to ask me if he had any major questions. I tried to task more abruptly than the previous day and I tried to make far fewer explanations while we were honestly working. That did not help at all, somehow the guy was even more clueless. After I worked with the new guy for a few days, I pulled our boss aside and I warned him that the new hire did not seem to be very wise on heating and A/C repairs and replacement jobs. My boss showed me that guy’s supposed resume and I told him that it had to be a fake. The guy that I was working with did not have years of experience as he tried to say on his resume. The new guy isn’t going to last very long at all.
