My sibling was about 15 years younger than I am.
My parents thought they were past having youngsters and then suddenly our sibling was born.
It was a surprise but they were thrilled to have another child in the family. My sibling and I did not grow up very close because of the age difference. I honestly was more close to an uncle than a sibling. I still try to make myself available for our sibling when he has a serious problem. Last month our sibling wanted me to drive 2 hours to the mountain in order to help him with Heating and Air Conditioning repair, then he bought himself a small piece of property at the lake and the place did not have any working heating or air conditioning inside of the building. Since I task already in the heating and A/C repair industry, our sibling thought I was going to help him for no cost. I agreed to lend some assistance while I was in the job, even though I told our dear sibling he was going to have to spend our money for all of the parts that were absolutely necessary to complete the work. I honestly hate to drive 2 hours of the mountain just to try to help with the heating and A/C replacement job. I’m not going to get paid anything and it’s going to take me all day. I would be a lot happier about the job if our sibling lived a bit closer. At least our sibling promised to buy beers for the lot of us to share. If I have to do a task on a Wednesday, I’m glad I can get drunk at the same time.
