We are going to be hosting a fall football gathering kick off in the next week or two! We all enjoy football in our family and so every year, we have a giant gathering to start the season.
All of our friends come and some of our family members show up too.
It always just depends on who can make it, but it is kind of an open invitation kind of gathering. You never know who is going to show up! Last year, we had the gathering on opening day and it was also a day that was really warm. I thought that it would be relaxing since we have a particularly relaxing central air conditioner method in our house, but that did not turn out to be the case, but whenever everyone got there, I noticed that the house was particularly heating up a lot inside. I had turned the air conditioner settings down so that the house would cool off, but the air conditioning system did not seem to be working, everyone was uncomfortably warm and the gathering did not go well because people were sweaty and the indoor air conditions in the house was terrible. This year, I am going to make sure that that sort of thing does not happen! I am going to have our local HVAC supplier come out plus do a maintenance check on our central air conditioner method just to make sure that it’s going to be working well whenever we have the gathering. I don’t want to go through another ordeal like we all had last year, that’s for sure.
