I absolutely love donuts.
I love donuts so much that whenever a new donut shop opens up near me, I try my best to go to their opening day.This past summer, a new donut shop opened near me.
I was super excited to try it out because they advertised having gourmet donuts with unique flavors. I decided to go to the grand opening, even though I knew the weather would be hot and humid. The grand opening started at ten in the morning, so I decided to go wait in line starting at eight. It may seem like eight o-clcok in the morning would not be hot and humid, but when you live in the south the temperatures can start getting really hot early. I figured that I would sweat for a little while, but I would cool down with the central air conditioning inside the donut shop once we got in. I also brought a personal fan with me and I really thought that I would survive the heat. The line was super long, but I did not want to give up on my free donuts. I waited in the heat, and all I wanted to do was cool off in the air conditioning. After sweating in the heat and humidity for two hours, I finally got inside the donut shop. I expected to feel the sweet relief of central air conditioning when I walked in, but instead I felt warmth and a brief moment of air from a fan. The owners apologized that the central air conditioning stopped working out of nowhere. I was so sweaty, but I got my donuts and then ate them in my air conditioned car.
