Indoor concert a/c broke

There was an announcement on the intercom that the air conditioning stopped working in the venue

I decided to go to a concert with my friends last summer. I had not been to a concert in several years due to Covid. My friends and I live in the south, so I was relieved that they chose an indoor concert venue. There is no way that I could tolerate an outdoor concert in the thick of the summer. The heat and humidity would be unbearable, even at night. We got to the concert venue after we spent hours getting ready in my air conditioned house. It was a super hot and muggy evening. We blasted the air conditioning in the car so we wouldn’t ruin our hair and makeup that we spent so much time on. When we got to the concert, the ticket line was long and we unfortunately had to wait about thirty minutes. Thirty minutes may not seem like a long time, but in the heat and humidity it can feel like an eternity. Our hair and makeup started to get a little messed up, but I figured we could fix it in the air conditioned bathrooms. When we got inside, we went to the bathroom to freshen up and it definitely did not feel like cold, refreshing, A/C was on. I assumed that the heat from the amount of women in the restroom and the automatic hand dryers was making it feel like there was no air conditioning on. Unfortunately my assumption was wrong. There was an announcement on the intercom that the air conditioning stopped working in the venue. The announcement apologized for the inconvenience, but stated that the concert was still happening so there would be no refunds. My friends and I decided to stay, despite the fact that there was no air conditioning and there was a large crowd.
