We have been having heating and A/C issues for awhile now. We were quite in a dilemma. The HVAC unit broke not that long ago. We had a HVAC worker come out, and he told us that we could do two options. The first option was that he could keep repairing the old air conditioning unit, but since it was 18 years old, he told us that it was going to drain us money wise, and it would eventually break down and not be repairable. The second option was to go ahead and get a new HVAC installation. The second option sounded great, if it wasn’t for the fact that my husband and I didn’t have the money for a full HVAC installation. A/C installations were incredibly expensive, and there was no way we could afford that right now. However, neither of us wanted to keep paying to repair the current system, when we knew it was going to break down again soon. So we didn’t go with either option. After the A/C technician left, my husband started giving me some suggestions on what we could do in the meantime. One of his suggestions was pretty good, and that was getting a couple of portable air conditioning units. Portable HVAC devices would be great to bring with us, and keep the room cool. They’re also not that expensive, and would serve as a temporary cooling unit until we had a more permanent solution. I agreed that this was the best idea, and my husband promptly left to get the portable cooling components.
