All of the previous months, I had been saving money.
- I only bought a few small things for myself here and there, like a $5 bag of candy or something small like that.
Since it was my birthday month, I told myself I needed to splurge a bit. While I know most people would be thrilled, it was honestly hard for me. I really didn’t want to spend any more, but at the same time, I kind of wanted to. I decided to go in between and buy something I needed and wanted. I ended up getting this idea after seeing a smart thermostat online. I really needed a new thermostat for my home, and the modern look of the smart thermostat I found very appealing. If I buy the new thermostat, I wouldn’t feel so bad about buying something expensive, since it was something I technically needed as well. Even with this mindset it still took me several days of procrastinating buying it before I actually bought it. I just went to the heating and air conditioning company’s website, and bought the new thermostat there. A day or so later, I got an email telling me that my item was being shipped. The new thermostat was supposed to arrive in a little over a week. Since there was bad weather in the area, it was going to take a little longer than usual to arrive, which was disappointing, but at least I have something to look forward to. I just know this new nest thermostat will improve my home so much.
