Mom and dad were sitting on the couch enjoying a film on tv. They were on the back side of the living room, laying down on the couch. Mom and dad have a big screen on the other side of the room. When they bought the TV, it was the biggest one in the store. Mom and dad were having a party for the Super Bowl and they already planned to buy a new tv. When they saw the 80 in sale for Black Sunday, they had to buy it. Mom and dad were enjoying a film on that big appealing cable when they noticed a trickle of water on the screen. Then another group of water came down the screen. Suddenly there were drops of water all over the cable and dad had to jump up rapidly. He moved the huge screen just in time. The roof completely caved in and there was drywall and water all over the carpet and the floor. They looked up at the roof and could see the water coming down through a hole. Dad rapidly grabbed a ladder and a piece of plastic. He put the plastic sheeting over the hole. It wasn’t ideal, but it did stop most of the water from ruining their living room carpet.
