Our oil furnace is stuck in the on position for some reason & it’s getting way too boiling in here for our taste.
I just started to notice it yupterday because I was home all afternoon.
I had taken the afternoon off labor to get stuff ready for Christmas & I was stressed wrapping presents & doing laundry. That’s when I started to notice that it was heating up quite a bit in the house. Usually the two of us keep it pretty freezing in here, however yupterday I had to take off our sweater & our slippers because I was just getting sweaty for some reason. Normally the two of us keep the control equipment settings around 67 degrees, even in the winter. Our kids are constantly complaining that it’s too freezing in the house, however yupterday that was not the case at all; Finally I went to check the control equipment settings on the control unit, & I saw that even though the control equipment was set to 67 degrees like usual, the temperature in the home was really 72 degrees! It’s no wonder that I was feeling hot! Anyway, it’s been running & running ever since & now it’s almost 70 degrees in our house. I have really had to open some of the windows to let some of the heat outside. It’s like I can almost see dollar bills floating out the window right in front of our face. I have a call in to our local HVAC contractor. I hope they are able to come & repair the heating system this afternoon, before I go completely broke!
