Working in Heating

I believe it isn’t the most glamorous of tasks, however being an Heating, Ventilation & A/C repairman has its perks.

I’ve met so many people over the years working in the industry and have had some fun and ridiculous experiences.

I am 55 years seasoned now and who knows how much more time I have left in this life, however so far I have packed in quite a bit of stuff in those years and made some pretty cool memories. I’ve had bad afternoons where the Heating, Ventilation & A/C plan I was installing didn’t work at all, and I’ve had good afternoons where I sold a bunch of gas fireplaces and made a ton of currency. I’ve met lovers in my line of work and made some enemies here and there, which usually got smoothed out over time and all was well with most of them in the end. I’ve had oil gas furnaces explode in my face and cover me with soot and oil, and I’ve also had central heating units chop down on the coldest afternoon of the year and I fixed it for the family just in time and made them so glad. I hope I have a lot more time on this planet to do good things for people, however my dad passed away recently at only 77 years seasoned and it made me wonder how much time I have left. My dad used to sell modern Heating, Ventilation & A/C technology out of her local dealer for many years and taught me a lot while I was working with him for some of those years. It’s been a good ride so far.
