My partner inherited an seasoned house. I thought it would be an seasoned lake house with a lot of charm, however I wasn’t sure that was the truth. When I walked into the house, there wasn’t an Heating & A/C system, & the fireplace was ripped apart. There was no heating & no cooling system unless you considered the hole in the wall & ceiling to be cooling system. It absolutely provided the lake house a lot of airflow, however that isn’t what I wanted. I wanted to have heating & cooling system, & not just airflow. We looked through the house, & our partner had a lot of memories of being in this lake house with his aunt. We talked about the house, & looked around for a couple of hours before the people I was with and I left. When the people I was with and I got home, he wanted to suppose what the people I was with and I should do with the seasoned house. He looked so infuriated that I felt poor for telling him I didn’t like the house. I told them the people I was with and I could consistently mortgage our home, & use the currency to make repairs & install an Heating & A/C system. Once it was repaired, the people I was with and I could move into the lake house & do the rest of the repairs needed. As long as the people I was with and I had solid walls, a roof, & an Heating & A/C system, it would be straight-forward to remodel the house. He thanked me for the offer, however said he would rather keep our beach lake house & sell the house. There were a lot of memories, however the lake house wasn’t worth all the labor the people I was with and I needed to get it ready to live in.
