I called the Heating and A/C company because it was frosty in my house! My gas furnace wasn’t working, and it was so frosty I could not move, and i was bundled in blankets when the Heating and A/C worker arrived, and I refused to transfer much until she repaired the gas furnace.
I wasn’t ecstatic when she said I needed a new gas furnace, and there was little she could do to get the heat on! She thought she could coax enough heat out of the gas furnace to keep the pipes from chilly, but that wasn’t going to do much for my comfort.
I wasn’t ecstatic, and I asked him what was so wrong with the gas furnace that it could not be repaired. She simply said the gas furnace was almost thirty years old, and I hadn’t changed the air filters properly. I had nothing to say. I put my nose into my teacup and looked away. She asked if I wanted to order a gas furnace now, or if I favorite to talk to the Heating and A/C contractor. I peeked at him over my teacup and told him I would order a single now. I knew I was about to max out my credit card, but I needed a gas furnace in the house. She told myself and others that if I had a problem paying for the gas furnace, I should call the Heating and A/C company and ask for the billing department, and they would help myself and others arrange for correct biweekly payments, which was normally no credit check and no interest. I thanked him and curled up under my blankets until I heard from the Heating and A/C company on when the gas furnace could be delivered and installed.
