Changing HVAC air filter is essential

It’s really the little things that often make such an important difference in our lives.

And when it comes to the life of any residential HVAC unit, it’s the little things that count as well.

For sure, it’s super important to have the heating and cooling equipment get seasonal HVAC maintenance. We are lucky to belong to the HVAC service plan. This is a service plan that centers around the seasonal HVAC maintenance for our HVAC equipment. There are other perks that go with it along with discounts for services like ductwork cleaning. The other big bonus about an HVAC service plan is that I don’t have to pay for labor if there’s any sort of HVAC repair needed. All I have to pay for are the parts. And as good as all of that is, it’s still very important to do the little things when it comes to residential HVAC. And the little things are the ones that often get lost in the shuffle. I know that’s true in my life so I have to set alerts to remind me to do things like change the HVAC air filter. It’s very important to change the HVAC air filter every month unless you’re using a HEPA filter. Those are normally changed every 3 months. It’s also important to go through the house and make sure that all the ductwork is open and unobstructed. I do this periodically and making sure that the HVAC cabinet outside is free of debris and is getting all the air flow it needs. If you pay attention to the little things, you’ll have great quality heating and air for a very long time.
