Have you ever worked in an office that has unreliable a/c? I am currently working in a single, and let me tell you, it is entirely frustrating; Usually, if your supervisor owns the building, you are more likely to get the a/c repaired if necessary; well, myt supervisor rents the office space, and trying to get anything much done is almost a moot point, however especially something that is pricey, like Heating and A/C, is unlikely to be updated until it is so poor that people are not renewing their leases.
Well, my cooling system became so unreliable that I decided to go out and get a ceiling fan from the beach home goods store, and after that the two of us contacted a handyman and got him to install the ceiling fan right over my desk, of course, I had to spend money for all this out of my own pocket, however there are some things in life that I just have to have in order to be useful at work… If I do not have nice cooling system, then at least I need a fan, then the unusual thing is that periodically I am cold, even without the ceiling fan running, and other times I literally have sweat running down my neck. The control component in my boss’s office is consistently many degrees hotter than those in the rest of the locale. That is a immense problem for him, although he wouldn’t get a ceiling fan for his office, so he just continues to suffer. The locale I worked before was owned by my supervisor, and the two of us never had any difficulties with Heating and A/C because the two of us took nice care of it and got official Heating and A/C maintenance. I miss those afternoons.
