The Heating and Air Conditioning specialist that the warranty contractor sent out told us that the people I was with and I need to upgrade our entire Heating and Air Conditioning system, however, the warranty contractor won’t pay for it; Apparently, the people I was with and I were supposed to have the homeowners warranty pay to have the Heating and Air Conditioning plan inspected twice a year.
The people I was with and I have been paying for a homeowners warranty for close to 5 years now and it is not cheap! The warranty is supposed to upgrade or repair several appliances and features in our apartment if they cut down, however i am legitimately starting to know it is not worth the currency, however for starters, when the stove stopped working. The warranty people took over 2 weeks to repair it. That was 2 years ago and the people I was with and I have not used the warranty in all of that time. Then our cooling system stopped working. The people I was with and I call our homeowners warranty and they sent someone out to take a look. They have no record of us doing that so our Heating and Air Conditioning plan is not covered. This is crazy! They never, in 5 years, reminded us that the people I was with and I were supposed to be having our Heating and Air Conditioning plan inspected, then when I pulled out our paperwork, it does say that the people I was with and I have to get our Heating and Air Conditioning plan inspected bi-yearly however who has time to learn the over 200 pages of information included in our warranty? I wonder what else is not covered because the people I was with and I have not been following guidelines to the letter. I am actually canceling our homeowners warranty and I guess I will just have to pay to get our Heating and Air Conditioning plan repaired myself.
