I was in a tough position opening my business without my air purifier

I planned to open the bakery on the weekend of the 31st, although I had to reschedule until the following Saturday, then the ribbon-splitting ceremony was tied up for a week.

However, the air cleaner didn’t arrive until several days after the tied up date, but I ordered the air cleaner from a local heating and cooling system company. They came to the bakery to take measurements of the locale so I had the right unit to do the job respectfully; however, every business needs an air cleaner and order to be open during this pandemic. I expected the unit to be here before the opening day, however it was late! A couple days before the ribbon-splitting ceremony, I had to make a decision. I decided to cancel the grand opening and reschedule it for the next weekend. I knew that both of us could not open for business without the air cleaner or both of us would run the risk of getting a citation from the county health department. A lot of people were frustrated and disappointed and several people still showed up at the time. I had to tell people the terrible news and see the intense disappointed look on their faces. I think I lost clients that would have obtained bakery goods. The following weekend, I opened the doors to a undoubtedly small crowd. I know having to reschedule the grand opening was a terrible way to introduce the business to the community. I’m really aggravated with the maintenance I received from the air cleaner distributor. They should be held accountable for the delay and the small crowd on opening day..
