Going Back Home Was Tough Because Of Busted Heating

I had to drive all the way back home from school because my grandpa had passed away, and I had to go to his funeral. I began having some issues with the heating in my car about half way there. It was the middle of Winter, plus I obviously had the defrost on while I was driving, but this was preventing the windows from frosting up because of the drastic cold outside, and I was noticing that the car’s heater was causing the windows to fog up badly. I thought that maybe the car’s heater system wasn’t on defrost, however to my surprise, it was. I couldn’t find any way to solve it. I called my father asked him what could be wrong with the heater. He told me that the heater in the car was absolutely blowing antifreeze through our air vents… Something was apparently wrong with that. He told me to shut off the car’s heating system plus roll down the windows. Those last few hours were really cold. I listened to him, and then when I made it back, he tried to repair it for me after the funeral. He had to bypass a few hoses in the thing, plus he fixed the problem. However, for temporary purposes, the heating unit would no longer heat up anymore, then anytime our window fogged up, I had to roll down the windows. That was terrible. I had to bring blankets as well as bundle to make up for the frosty cold weather. Thankfully, I came back to the school a month after finals and my father got my heater working again… My father is so awesome with car repairs.
