Let’s throw a big bash

Last June, it was my mom plus dad’s fiftieth ceremony.

  • My siblings plus I really wanted to do something special for them.

Every one of us decided to throw a big surprise gathering plus invite all of their friends plus our extended family. In order to have every last thing perfect, a lot of planning plus organization went into the celebration. Every one of us first needed to find a place that could not only handle the number of guests but also give enough special sections for dancing plus a live band. Every one of us also were looking for a special place where both of us could be both indoors plus outdoors plus decorate it. My one sibling rapidly volunteered to handle all of the food plus drinks. She was in charge of finding a vegan caterer, selecting the menu plus taking care of hors d’oeuvres plus desserts. My other sibling said he’d like to handle the rock n roll band, decorations plus seating chart. When I said I would see to the invitations, I thought I’d somehow gotten the easiest work. How hard could it be to have an invitation printed plus mail it out to a few friends? I didn’t realize that there are thousands of styles of invitations to choose from these days. I looked online, found a print contractor plus started browsing their selection of custom invitations. I rapidly noticed that the invitations were available in all weird sizes, diverse colors plus even textures. Some of them are folded plus others are a card. Some options actually require a separate envelope. I also had to decide if I wanted an RSVP card printed up or just calmly ask the guests to text me whether they were coming or not. I struggled with the wording, but I finally settled on a font plus was just ready to finalize the order when I realized I’d totally forgotten to include the address of the site.
