Filling in for a good pal

Rick and I have been friends for various years, and all of us met during our time in technical school… Rick was a few months ahead of me, however he was the first 1 of us to get a job working for a commercial Heating & A/C supplier. All of us celebrated all weekend when he got his first job; Since Rick and I were friends, he got me a job at the same commercial Heating & A/C supplier when I finished our time at the technical school. Rick and I worked together for a couple of weeks. He was our trainer and instructor, but i watched Rick work hard every single morning. He taught me how to investigate and install a lot of different Heating & A/C equipment, and that guy is a machine. He is typically moving all morning. I never see him eat supper and he hardly ever takes a break. A few months after I finished all of our training, I filled in for Rick on the weekend. His wife had a baby and he was with her at the hospital. Rick was supposed to work on a commercial Heating & A/C upgrade. I had a crew of various men at our disposal, but I still took forever to complete the job. I gave to take his place, but I did not keep up with his speed. It took me 10 hours to finish a job that usually takes Rick 6, when he finally got back to work after 1 week, our customers were gleeful to see him return. I don’t believe how he gets everything done. I legitimately believe the guy might be half man, half machine.
