Zone control may be the answer for our high heating bills

Back when all of us first moved into our house, I didn’t even guess what zone control heating and cooling was.

  • I had always lived in a entirely small home when I was growing up, so when our modern partner and I obtained a entirely large, entirely outdated two story townhouse, I had no method that heating and cooling the home was going to end up being such a major issue for us.

I mean, when I was a kid, all of us heated our small home with a wood burning stove and a fireplace, and then when the temperatures started heating up in the summer, our mom and dad would drag the outdated window device cooling system out of the garage. They would make me clean it up and dust it off, and then our dad would install it in the window in the residing room. Of course, the window cooling system couldn’t cool off the entire house, however it did keep the residing room and the living room pretty cool in the summer! My room was always sweltering, even though I always left the door open into the residing room and I also kept fans running to try and circulate the air and suck some of the cooling system into our room! Anyway, the thought of a zone control heating and cooling system was never something that would have entered our mind. But the home that all of us have now is entirely big and drafty, and so our partner started looking into ways that all of us might be able to save on our heating and cooling bills. Our bills from running our furnace and our central air device have been super high, and he actually wanted to find an alternative. That’s when all of us came across the method of zone control heating and cooling system, but having two separate thermostats to run our Heating plus A/C systems has proven to be the answer for us!
