I moved into my new home and six weeks later, I had to find out what was going on with my HVAC system. They told me that the HVAC system was only a couple of years old and I was beginning to wonder if they realtor hadn’t told me a lie. I didn’t have enough airflow in the house, to get the heat from the furnace to the living room. I called the HvAC company and asked them if they could check my furnace. When he showed up, he seemed really upset when he called me into the basement. He showed me an air filter that looked like it had never been changed. I told him I had only just bought the house and I didn’t know that I had to change the air filters. He showed me how to change it and he also gave me a box of air filters that fit the furnace and a box of air filters for the air conditioning. He said he was pretty sure I was going to find the same thing happening when it came time to run the air conditioning. The HvAC tech said the air filter hadn’t been changed in quite a while and he was surprised the furnace was still working. While he was there, he offered me a maintenance and repair agreement. I was able to have my regular maintenance done and they would also do small repairs that were needed, at the time of maintenance. He told me that he had one plan that offered to not just supply me with the air filters, but they would change the air filters for me. I was really glad that I had contacted the HVAC company I called.
