Different cleaners have different skills

Sometimes by stepping up and taking more responsibility, you can actually end up with less work to do. At least, that is how it ended up working out with me. My brothers and I were raised by a single dad, who worked hard and didnt have a lot of time for house work. All of us kids had a list of chores to do, mostly cleaning of various kinds, and we all hated it. I realized if we organized all the various chores we had to do and worked together we could all work a little bit less. 20 years later I am doing the same thing professionally, and running not just one office cleaning crew, but three of them. Janitorial service is not rocket science, but it is hard work that takes time to do well. To this end, I have assembled three different office cleaning crews where every member has their own strength of speciality. One guy, for example, is an ace with floor stripping and waxing and can do a floor in half the time as anyone else. I use him as a “floater” between all the crews, and he handled all of the floor stripping and waxing for the company. Each crew has someone who focuses on commercial carpet cleaning, because a deep clean is more important than a fast clean, but optimally we will have both! These days there is a lot of competition in the commercial cleaning and janitorial services market, but I think me and my crews stand above the rest in speed and efficiency.
