I am an HVAC technician, and I work for the HVAC company that has always been in the town where I grew up. The owner of the HVAC company is a close family friend, and he has always helped me to be the best HVAC technician that I can be. However, the owner of the HVAC company is more than just my boss. The owner of the HVAC company truly cares for the HVAC technicians, and he wants to help. My wife and I were doing well before we had a kid. We were so excited that she was pregnant, and we couldn’t wait to meet our child. However, she had a miscarriage, and we were both devastated. During this time, the owner of the HVAC company paid me for two weeks without working, and the HVAC technicians that worked for the HVAC company were super supportive. After the grieving time, I had to return to my normal life, but my wife couldn’t. She was struggling mentally, and it led to a divorce. She ran away because she could not handle it. She took everything, and I didn’t mind. I loved her and wanted the best for her. However, the HVAC company provided for me, and the owner of the HVAC company gave me a house and a raise. I know that I would not have survived this time without the HVAC company.
