It took a long time but it finally came to fruition. My wife and I decided that we would not build our first home until we were ready to retire. Of course, this house is not the first one we have owned. This is actually the third property we have owned. But, it’s the very first one we have built from the ground up. And having just completed this mission, I’m sure glad it’s over. It was no sort of feet up in the HVAC and getting daily reports on the progress sort of situation. No, it was a very intense and at times, a frustrating experience. I can’t even imagine what it would have been like with a full time career to attend to. Being retired allowed my wife and I to be present most days to see how things went and to deal with issues that came up. I think we were both prepared to have the build be difficult. But I think we were surprised by how often we were needed to make certain calls. However, that was not the case when it came to the HVAC. The heating & cooling system was a big component of the project. Thankfully, we were able to rely and count on the HVAC contractor. He was amazing. The HVAC contractor we chose was just so on top of his game. The heating & cooling expertise was only matched by his organization and professionalism. We really just didn’t need to do much checking in on him. Ultimately, we got an HVAC system that is the best that we have ever experienced. I attribute most of that to the fact that our HVAC contractor was amazing.
