I want to begin this off by saying that I enjoy my job.
- I have always imagined that I would have a job like I currently do and I could not be more thankful to be here! However, lately I’ve been struggling a lot with my colleague.
There are a lot of ladies in my corporation and I enjoy being around the female energy but it’s becoming hard to be around these people all afternoon. Thankfully for the past year we have been able to work from home. For the past 2 weeks I’ve had to go into the office every afternoon. I don’t know why I think like before they never get annoyed with me and now I just can’t be around them. I guess it’s because they are always complaining. Nothing is ever nice enough for them at the office, then one thing my colleagues are always complaining about is the air conditioner at the office. The air conditioner is always blasting and it’s frigid cold. I understand that it’s annoying to have the air-conditioning always running but this is nothing new to us. The air conditioner was always on before we left and started genuinely working from home and now they are just complaining, It feels like complaining. I wish I could just tell them that complaining is not going to fix anything and if they have a real issue with the air conditioner they should tell upper management. However, they just rest around all afternoon and complain about the temperature of the office. I’m getting quite sick of it and find my colleague annoying
