I’ve been working in the bathroom that’s just off the master bedroom in my house because it’s the warmest place there is in the house. We have really been having a cold snap around here, and the weather has been just freezing. Usually it’s milder than this around here where we live but recently the temperatures have been in the single digits. A couple of times the temperature has gotten below freezing! I can’t deal with it when it’s too cold, and a couple of weeks ago I noticed that our furnace wasn’t really working all that well. It would run and run during the day, but the house never seemed to start heating up all that much at all. When I called up our local heating and cooling company to make an appointment to have them check out the furnace, I was informed that it would be at least two weeks because they were so busy. I didn’t know what to do with that information because at that point I felt like I was just gonna have to freeze until they came to fix the furnace. Just around that time was when I noticed that the bathroom in the master bedroom was toasty and warm, even though the rest of the house felt like the furnace wasn’t working at all. That’s when I realized that I probably had a problem with the ductwork in the house, and that it probably wasn’t the furnace system at all. I’ve been working in the bathroom ever since! Hopefully they will come and fix the duct work soon.
